01/18/23 IT IS INEVITABLE

01/18/23 IT IS INEVITABLE

I have warned in the past that FB's invasive policies were becoming more aggressive and destructive. It was only a matter of time before it would become a total washout. We have watched it move incrementally in its attack against morality, family, faith and freedom.

It appears that FB is about to pull the plug and allow the perverted, filthy side of society to take over completely. I have held on for as long as I can. I have pointed out the importance for everyone being part of a strong local church, especially an in-person ministry. The days of internet ministry have always been numbered, either because of State over-reach or the cesspool of Social Media's permitted perversity. The opportunity to find a strong Bible church is becoming more difficult. One day there will probably be no Christian witness on the internet. It could happen overnight. I have taken steps in the past to prepare for a sudden exodus from Social Media formats.

If you don't have a strong local church, now is the time to find one. If you can't find one in your area, you need to establish lines of communication with a strong local church and pastoral leadership, even at a distance. I don't want to lose my connection with other folks, but it might happen very soon. There are Live Streaming outlets, other than Social Media, but even those opportunities are in jeopardy.

I am taking some new steps to cut ties with FB. If it comes to this, I hope I can let you know about my plans.

01/18/23 WE ARE COMMANDED TO EVANGELIZE

01/18/23 WE ARE COMMANDED TO EVANGELIZE

Jesus told His followers (yes, that means today's Christians) to go preaching the GOOD NEWS to all men and teaching them to observe all things that He commands them. So, now the internet and American pulpits are filled with "teachers" and "preachers" proclaiming the errors of men, SUCH AS...
telling the world that God does not love everyone with redeeming love,
telling the world that Jesus did not die for everyone,
telling the world that the Blood of Christ does not save and cleanse from all sin,
telling the world that the Holy Spirit does not thoroughly purify the believer's heart and lead us into a life of victory over temptation,
telling the world that they have no choice (except to sin),
telling the world that God chose for them to live their lives in sin,
telling the world that God chose for them to die hopelessly in their sins.

This is the substitute "GOOD NEWS" of the Prince of Darkness and no matter how you slice it, it is Deviled bologna. Don't be deceived by sinning religion.

Obviously those teachers and preachers are not preaching the GOOD NEWS.
They are preaching another Jesus.
They are preaching another Spirit.
They are preaching another Gospel.
But there is no other Jesus, no other Spirit and no other Gospel.

Sinning religion has been foisted upon Christians since the first century. However, long history and famous names do not make a lie true. Read and believe the Bible without the fancy theological footwork that denies obvious truths, which are stated and explained repeatedly.

If the message does not glorify God and magnify His attributes of love, grace, mercy, compassion, justice, honesty, holiness, then the message is not the message of the Bible.
If the message does not conform believers to the image of Jesus and save them from all sin, then the message is not the message of the Bible.
The God of sinning religion is not the God of the Bible.

The Bible clearly teaches that only those who believe, confess, repent, call on Jesus, and only those who deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follows Jesus, are saved. We do not evangelize simply because it is a command, we evangelize because salvation only comes to those who willingly believe, repent, confess and follow Jesus.

(I really encourage you to read the following passages, all of them, all the way through).

Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 1:7-8
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Romans 10:8-17
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ephesians 2:1-22
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

01/18/23 AFTER ALL, THEY REJECT THE OBVIOUS

01/18/23 AFTER ALL, THEY REJECT THE OBVIOUS

I am not shocked when folks disbelieve my teaching. After all, they confidently deny God's clearly revealed truths of salvation from all sin in this present evil world and His sacrificial love for all sinners.

01/17/23 TOTALLY OBVIOUS

01/17/23 TOTALLY OBVIOUS

Folks argue against many different Bible truths, but one of the clearest, most thoroughly documented truths in Scripture is God's plan, provision and power (through Christ's atonement), to deliver all believers (who trust Him fully), from all sin (its penalty, power and pollution), all of the time.

01/17/23 HOLD FAST, FAINT NOT

01/17/23 HOLD FAST, FAINT NOT

I have had a few bumps in my journey, but last year was the most difficult in many ways. But by God's grace I made it through.

I was hoping to find respite in 2023, but new troubles and trials of various kinds have escorted me, Martha Gould and our family into the New Year.

"Through it all," Jesus has enabled, encouraged and empowered us.
"I have questions for tomorrow," but I have no doubt in the love, wisdom, power and plan of God, whatever it is.

My faith relationship with Jesus transformed me and my walk with Him has taught me that He never fails and He never forsakes His Own.

I am thankful for the love, prayers and support of "The Net House Crew." At the same time, I have watched some of them deal with their own challenges. I am fully convinced that God is leading us through flood and flames in these days. It is, "in times like these," we need to put out our big anchor, hold fast and faint not.

In fact, I have noticed many others in the household of faith coming under intense attacks (physical, financial, relational and spiritual).

This is no time to falter or whimper or doubt. Hold on and move forward while you can, and when you are physically unable, God will hold you; He will see you through the storm; He will be your Light in a pitch black world; He will be your Rock and Supply in a weary land; He will be your Spring in a dry and thirsty desert.

You are His child, you have His Blood, His Spirit, His word. As the Giver of every good and perfect gift, He gives you everything you need for life and godliness. Don't give way to sin, difficulty or the enemy of your soul.

In everything give thanks.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 John 5:4
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Jude 1:20-21 and 24-25
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

01/15/23 COMMITTED FOR A LIFETIME

01/15/23 COMMITTED FOR A LIFETIME

Time is the sieve that reveals and removes small minded, mean spirited, self oriented people as the people they have become rather than the people they could have been.

Eternal success goes to the persistent, self denying person who serves others rather than self.

It isn't about what God gave you in life, it is about what you do with what God gave you.

01/14/23 IT IS THE STANDARD

01/14/23 IT IS THE STANDARD

Those who walk in the light, those who walk in truth, those who walk in love, those who walk in faith, keep God's commandments and do those things which are pleasing in His sight.

Hebrews 13:20-21
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

01/14/23 I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT

01/14/23 I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT

Sometimes "really smart" people cannot grasp clear Biblical truths and they belittle you for your explanation. Sometimes I don't try to explain to them, since they can't get past their own preconceived notions and prejudices. Yes, they will still think I am a moron, but I save myself the unnecessary grief of wasted energy by not casting my pearls before swine.

01/04/23 GOD IS NOT CONFLICTED

01/04/23 GOD IS NOT CONFLICTED

God can do whatever He chooses to do, but He never chooses to do anything contrary to His nature (love, truth, mercy, justice). Also, God's attributes are balanced and they never contradict or conflict with each other. God is sovereign but His sovereignty never opposes His love, truth, justice or mercy.

It is failure to understand the unity and integrity of God that causes people to misrepresent the nature and the works of God. This results in the belief that God creates and practices evil, that He lies.

01/04/23 WE ARE UNIQUE

01/04/23 WE ARE UNIQUE

Everyone is limited in some area.
Everyone has strength in some area.

Some allow their limitations to define them.
Some focus on their strengths.

There is no joy or success in fretting or regretting.

Turn your energy toward pursuing and doing.

We find and fulfill the call and the will of God when we recognize, prioritize and live our lives in the light of His Lordship, love, wisdom, power, mercy.

God gives each of us our own set of abilities, talents, gifts. We are responsible to develop our skills and limit our limitations.

The Christian life is not for the lazy, or the lovers of ease.

Successful Christian living is when God's provision is met by surrender, faith and obedience, resulting in self-denial and sanctified determination.

Philippians 3:7-15
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

01/03/23 CONSTANTINIAN CORRUPTION

01/03/23 CONSTANTINIAN CORRUPTION

Nonviolence (based on Biblical faith, love and obedience) was the practice of Christians in the apostolic Church and continued until the pagan, Constantine, corrupted the message and ministry of the early Church.

Since that time, violence has been espoused by Orthodox, Reformed and many Evangelical groups.

Don't follow the way of darkness.

01/02/23 THOROUGHLY FLAWED

01/02/23 THOROUGHLY FLAWED

The same folks who deny God's clear truth also deny obvious contradictions by Reformed teachers.

01/02/23 SIMPLE FAITH IS REQUIRED

01/02/23 SIMPLE FAITH IS REQUIRED

I am not smart enough to figure out when God's clear and oft repeated words don't mean what they say.

01/01/23 RUN WITH PATIENCE

01/01/23 RUN WITH PATIENCE

The run to heaven is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

You must be faithful for the long haul, y'all.

01/01/23 IT IS IN THE GREAT COMMISSION

01/01/23 IT IS IN THE GREAT COMMISSION

Birthing new believers into this world is not good enough this year.

You must lead them into a faithful church family.

01/01/23 A NEW YEAR IN NEWNESS OF LIFE

01/01/23 A NEW YEAR IN NEWNESS OF LIFE

Start the year committed to God's will.

It is your choice to either conform to His image or to be corrupt.

01/01/23 BEING LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

01/01/23 BEING LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

The same light seems to shine brighter in the dark of night than in the light of day.

Shine when you are going through trial.

01/01/23 OBEDIENCE IS NOT ARBITRARY

01/01/23 OBEDIENCE IS NOT ARBITRARY

We are called, enabled, commanded and judged, concerning our obedience to God's word, not our own preferences.

01/01/23 TWO SIDES TO SAME COIN

01/01/23 TWO SIDES TO SAME COIN

Trust and obey are two sides of the same coin.

If you have a trust problem, check your obey level.

01/01/23 TAKE THE OLD PATHS

01/01/23 TAKE THE OLD PATHS

If you want to move forward with God, you must take the old paths.

Most folks refuse and are lost along the way.

01/01/23 FAITH IS THE VICTORY

01/01/23 FAITH IS THE VICTORY

God was faithful through 2022 and still will be in 2023.

We can be victorious every day, simply trust in Jesus and obey.
