I wrote this on FB almost 13 years ago. It is simple and it is short but it is still good counsel. Added thoughts designated with, "*()."

How Much Filth Is Acceptable? NONE.
Parents are required to protect their children from all moral filth.
Get them out of the public schools.
Do not let them watch and listen to entertainment with profanity, nudity, sexual activity, blasphemy, whether television, movies, radio, music, internet, concerts, plays, *(videos, social media or other devices).
Do not let them hang with people who accept such low standards.
Woe to those who offend, whether parents or strangers.

SOME OF THE DANGERS *(to young people)
The dangers are numerous.
It violates them.
It corrupts them.
It misleads them.
It weakens them.
It imprints them with destructive thoughts and ideas.
It rings a bell that cannot be un-rung.
It sings a song that cannot be un-sung.
It hangs a picture that cannot be un-hung.
It opens some doors that should never be opened and some doors that can never be closed. 

1 Peter 3:15-17
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

Some one will say, “But they are going to see it anyway.” Jesus said, 

Matthew 18:6-7
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but WOE TO THAT MAN BY WHOM THE OFFENSE COMES!

Parents make mistakes, but I am not talking about mistakes or errors or surprises. I am talking about deliberate choices to expose children to filth. We need a ZERO TOLERANCE LEVEL when it comes to exposing our children to moral corruption.

Call it legalism if you are so deluded, but there is no regret in NOT offending children.
Whenever a lower level is reached, it leads to a lower level. We must lead them to higher ground, not into the sin pits of life.

Yes, they will be exposed to filth in this life, but they don't need it as children and they don't need it to be approved by parents.

Call it Old School if you choose, but God commends the Old Paths. 

Isaiah 58:12
12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. 

Jeremiah 6:16
16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

If they must be introduced to filth, DO NOT LET IT BE YOU and DO NOT LET IT BE WITH YOUR BLESSING.

The CROSS is not a decoration, it is a dedication and a declaration.
The cross in a believer's life is a dedication to Jesus, to His life, to His work of salvation, to His death and His resurrection, to His service.
The cross in a believer's life is a declaration to other people, of our faith and commitment to Jesus and His word and His work of salvation.

(I realize this is a lot of reading, but at least look at the passages. Taking time to focus and meditate on these passages would be a good exercise for personal growth and development. Remember, the point is that the cross in the life of a Christian is a dedication and a declaration. Asterisks (*) designate verses referring to the cross in our lives.) 

Matthew 10:32-29
32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law';
36 and 'a man's enemies will be those of his own household.'

In our response to Jesus we will either deny ourselves or we will deny Him. It is our choice

DENYING YOURSELF
Mark 8:34-38

06/27/23 QUICK OBSERVATIONS

I don't have time to mention, much less address the major "issues" we must face in this rapidly changing zoo, which we call life, but let me make some quick, short comments.

Persecution will come because we do not bow at the altar of the State and we do not sacrifice to the god's of this world.

Christians should not allow a wicked society and pagan worldview to determine our thinking, our words or our lives.

When I know the facts...
I do not refer to biological males as she or her, as their gender.
I do not refer to biological females as he or him, as their gender.

Just because others are living in a world of make believe and chaos does not mean that I have to follow them in their perversity.
Just because others deny that God made us male or female does not mean that I will join in their God denial and their resistance to Divine truth or honesty and common sense.

It will be costly to remain faithful to God, His word, truth, sanity, but the cost for betraying God, His word, truth and sanity is far greater and lasts for a lot longer.

Though everyone in my workplace bows to pagan deception, I refuse to follow.
Though it cost me position and/or income, I will not betray God, His word, truth or sanity by being dishonest.
Though it brings oppressive action by a wicked government, I will not betray God, His word, truth or sanity by being dishonest.

We should never let another person's sinful bullying and threats move us from being steadfastly faithful to God and His word.

ALSO...
There was never a time when perverted, aberrant, deviant, godless behavior should have become acceptable, permitted or legal. Sin is sin is sin is sin and it is never acceptable. Unlike those who have a libertine god and those who have an unloving god, I serve the true and living God who is loving, merciful, patient and kind AS WELL AS just and true. Because Christians are born again and we are created in righteousness and true holiness, and because we are also loving, merciful, patient and kind, as well as just and true, we love our enemies and we love the lost, but we do not agree with the error of the wicked and we do not follow the prince of darkness.

We should never say that we don't care what people do in the dark, in their "private lives" because if it is perverted it will become promoted and protected and prescribed by society and the State. It will be something that our children and their children will be taught to accept and agree with, to the damning of their soul.

The minor compromises we make today build insurmountable walls for the next generation. Be careful of the world you are creating for your children and their children.

To deny God's word is to deny God. If we deny Him, He will deny us, regardless of what our relationship with Him has been in the past.

I have added another element to our Sunday Evening Gathering. (As I announced earlier, I am having individuals in our church sharing their Personal Journey with Christ. This is not a personal testimony about a specific and recent victory in their life, but an overview of their encounter and walk with Jesus). But for my preaching and teaching on Sunday Evenings I am planning to give an overview of a different Bible book each week. This should be a nice addition to our Old Testament and New Testament Studies during Sunday AM Bible Class and Sunday Am Praise and Proclaim Service, as well as our Doctrines of Salvation Study on Wednesday nights.

This Quick Survey will connect the dots of the entire Bible. It will be concise, yet it will be on overview of Biblical revelation and doctrinal truth.

Here is an update of my present teaching and preaching schedule.
(All services are in-person and online).

Sunday Mornings we have two meetings: Bible Class and Praise and Proclaim Service.
I am teaching and preaching from the book of Genesis and from the Harmony of the Gospels.
(Sometimes I switch the subjects between Bible Class and Praise and Proclaim, depending on the lesson and message of those particular passages).

Sunday 10:00 AM Bible Class: 45 minute session.

Sunday 11:00 AM Praise (music, testimonies) and Proclaim Service: Usually between 60 to 90 minutes.

Sunday Afternoon Fellowship meal (coming soon) for those who are interested. We should be resuming this activity soon.

Sunday 6:30 PM Evening Gathering. A mixture of fellowship, teaching, preaching and Quick Survey of a specific Bible Book. Usually 60 to 90 minutes.

Wednesday 7:00 PM. Doctrines of Salvation Study, Q and A Time, Discussion.

I also lead a Men's Ministry Study on Thursday nights at 7:00. This is a training class for future leadership in the local church. It is a combination of Bible, Theology and Christian History.

The present study is titled, "Bible Theology In Genesis."

DON'T READ ONLY THE FIRST PART OF THIS POST.

Decades ago I warned people about the intrusive actions and intentions of oppressive government, using so-called "HEALTH AND SAFETY" laws and codes to rob and persecute Christians, and to destroy Biblical family values and units. (Therefore don't try to school me in the pandemoniac can't-spiritsee). I had "friends" (and even parishioners) who mocked and blasphemed me, my message and my ministry.

Today there is legislation in America that will take children away from Christians, if the parents obstruct or oppose physical "woke"mutilation in their own children. The State claims it is a "HEALTH AND SAFETY" issue and the parents are supposedly a danger to their own children.

I also remember many years ago when three witches flew (on there broomsticks) from three different states to split up a family. They did not actually care about the family, but because the husband was a friend of mine, those three witches came in to manipulate the justice system. It worked for them. They split a family, took the child away from her father and also got the judge to (illegally) forbid the father from bringing his daughter to our church, when she was visiting with the father.

Those three witches never repented or recanted. The father of the child died, without ever being actually reunited with his child. In his poverty he would visit the area where his daughter lived and would sleep in his truck during the winter time, just so he could spend time with his child.

Those who hate the truth will wield whatever weapons they can to hurt those who believe the Bible and hurt those who are even friends with those who believe the Bible.

I tell you this because decades later we are seeing the same oppression on a broader and more definitive basis being leveled against Christians and other conservatives. Legal and social actions are being used to destroy our country and oppress Bible believers.

It is too late for the "Endorians" (of the Bible sort) to make things right for the father and his daughter. It is too late to give that child the benefit of Biblical truth, love and support she would have gotten from our ministry. It is not to late for them to repent, but there has been no indication that they even realize the sin they committed. As the Bible clearly says, people will do the most heinous things, while thinking that they are doing the work of God.

I am not saying we can stop these things from happening in our country. (even if the Dark agenda is postponed, the Bible tells us how it is all going to unfold). I am simply warning folks that these things are happening and we need to be Biblically grounded in order to teach and reach our children before it is too late. The enemy is seeking whom he may devour.

Attacks and changes concerning morality, common sense, social mores in our world are happening so quickly that it is impossible for the spiritually astute to keep up with everything and most of the spiritually unenlightened (especially the young) will readily champion the anti-Biblical and anti-Christian agenda.

Artificial Intelligence endeavors have introduced an AI Jesus, and world leaders are calling for an AI Bible and an AI World Religion. This will go well with the Anti-Christ and the "Image of the Beast), as well as the One World Government and the One World Economy spoken of in the Bible.

Two of the most important signs of the coming End Times are world wide deception and world wide persecution of Bible believing Christians. The famine of Biblical truth prepares society for the coming deception and persecution and the last minute surge of Satan through digital advancements will solidify the dark agenda.

It is not enough to know the truth of God and it is not enough to believe (intellectually) the truth of God and it is not enough to make a commitment to the truth of God. A person must be totally committed to Christ, every day in every way. We must hold fast to the God and His word.

The problem is, people love darkness more than light and people, including church people, including people who have actually believed on Christ and including popular, talented teachers and preachers.

Years ago I learned that a fringe of so-called Bible believers taught that major portions of the New Testament were not applicable to Christian faith and practice. I could not believe anyone was that blind. Today there are great numbers of so-called Bible believers who teach that major portions of the New Testament do not apply to Christian faith and practice. It is a terrible thing for the blind to follow the blind. I am more than appalled. 

It is not simply a minor difference of opinion. Such an attack on God's word is an affront to God, an insult to the Holy Spirit, a blasphemy of the life and ministry and teachings of Jesus, as well as a snare to believers and a millstone around the necks of the lost.

Free yourself from the false doctrines of Deformed Theology and Sinning Religion.
Any religion that says God's salvation does not require free will human response is a lie.
Any religion that says God's salvation does not save from the penalty, the pollution and the power of sin in this present evil world is a lie.
Any religion that says we are saved by anything other than a living, current, up-to-date faith is a lie.
Any religion that says God does not instantaneously sanctify entirely, through faith, is a lie.
Any religion that does not recognize the necessity for justification and heart purity is a lie.

If what I say is Biblical, then why don't people see it and turn from deformed theology and sinning religion. BECAUSE they have swallowed the lies that reject Biblical truth. They interpret the Bible by a system, rather than building a belief system on what the Bible actually says.

I believe some of these folks are sincere, but they are sincerely wrong.
We must believe.
We must repent.
We must confess.
We must follow (obey).
We must choose to abide (continue, remain) faithful.
We must accept the grace of God that makes us holy, pure, righteous, because, "without holiness (the sanctification), no man shall see the Lord."

God's grace makes righteousness, purity, holiness...
Available,
Obtainable,
and
Desirable.

If you hate or resist purity of heart and life, you are resisting God and His salvation.

If you do not have self control, then you do not have the Fruit of the Spirit. Failure to produce the Fruit of the Spirit indicates a spiritual problem. If you are not producing the Fruit of the Spirit, you are in great danger. God can and will change your life, if you trust and surrender to Him.

Sunday evenings I am having folks share their personal journey with Christ. We have had two adults and one young lady (16 yrs old) share during the previous 3 weeks. The Lord willing, a recently turned 20 year old will share his journey this coming Sunday.

Here are some of the points they make during their Spiritual Journey Testimony...
Earliest spiritual recollections;
Changes that God has taken you through;
Important influences in your spiritual life;
Big changes you have gone through in obedience to God;
Your vision for your continued walk with Christ.

On some subjects, the question is not whether God CAN do a certain thing, but whether God WILL do a certain thing.

There is a difference in God's NATURE and God's POWER.
He has the power to do whatever He chooses to do but His nature determines His actions.
God's nature does not serve His power; God's power serves His nature.
Nature is what God is; Power is how God shows His nature..
God cannot and will not act contrary to His nature.
God cannot lie.
God cannot be tempted with evil and He tempts no man.
God cannot deny Himself.
There are several other things that God cannot do, because those actions are in conflict with His nature.

Sometimes people criticize God's omnipotence by asking if He can make a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it. This is called a Divine absurdity. Some Divine absurdities are concerned more with spiritual issues than with physical or material issues, but they are absurd nonetheless.

It is essential to realize that God sets boundaries for Himself and for the entire universe. His own boundaries are based on His nature and wisdom. For instance, His sovereignty does not rule over His nature. His nature is unchanging and His sovereignty acts according to His nature. He sovereignly gave the power of choice to humans, and He sovereignly provides salvation for man. If man rejects God's salvation, then God justly judges and condemns the rebel. Divine love, mercy, kindness, compassion are in balance with Divine justice. 

Romans 3:21-26 NKJV (see *s)
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
*22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
*25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
* 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

I watch in amazement as the affluent not only sit back in complacency while the unintentionally poor suffer because of systemic oppression, but the affluent often use the systems of politics, commerce, law and human need to advance themselves over the unintentionally poor. 

I have the same reaction when I see the medical community, the legal community, the food suppliers AND the supposed Christian community hold back important and essential supply, as they grasp for money. 

I believe in free market and capitalism but I also believe in love, kindness, compassion, justice, personal responsibility. I realize that morality cannot be legislated and I realize that immorality cannot always be legislated against.

This is where true salvation comes into play, though we often see the unregenerate acting in a more compassionate way than many of those who profess faith in Christ. 

Injustice and self promotion will continue to grow in our society. Innocent and good people ("innocent" and "good" in the accepted sense of the word, not in the theological sense) will suffer because of sin (greediness, oppression, hatred, selfishness). 

I watch as professing Christians take advantage of other Christians who are going through difficult times. Christians are not required to be communistic in their finances, but neither are they allowed by God to be hardhearted and selfish.

1 John 3:16-19
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

If the men of America were true soldiers of the cross, and if they wielded the Sword of the Spirit as they ought, then we would have kept darkness in the shadows (social and political), or we would either lead our country into the Light of the Gospel or replace the darkness in high places with truth, justice, and liberty (not to be confused with Libertinism). 

God sometimes has used force and even violence to bring about His plan, but being a tool of God does not necessarily mean that the tool was the instrument of His choice. God would rather win men to justice and righteousness than force them into submission. 

When men trust in horses and chariots, or the arm of flesh, then they are doomed to disaster and failure. Sadly, neither the Sword of the Spirit (a bloodless weapon, neglected by the carnally minded) or the sword of steel has protected America from the bold invasion and overthrow by wickedness. 

It is not too late for individuals to turn from sin, though it seems to be too late to turn our country back to civility, justice and stability. God, the Holy Spirit, spoke through Peter telling us to save ourselves from this wicked, dark, godless world. 

Acts 2:40
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward (perverse, crooked, corrupt) generation. 

DLG... salvation is personal, but it is the responsibility of fathers (primarily) and mothers to lead their children out of darkness and into the light of Christ; and it is the responsibility of Christians (the local church believers) to evangelize as many neighbors as they can.

The lie is, Jesus feared the cross, or Jesus prayed to escape the cross while He was in the Garden of Gethsemane.

It is a total lie that some good people and even some highly trained Christian leaders are now proclaiming.

They say Jesus feared the cross and He prayed to escape the cross. It is a lie.

There are Christians who do not deliberately intend to be dishonest, but they are promulgating a lie through inaccuracy. However, whether they are dishonest or simply inaccurate, they are promoting a blasphemous deception, perpetrated by Darkness, which dishonors God, demeans Christ, contradicts the Bible and is a stumbling block to those who need Jesus.

I had one of these glow in the dark, fold-out "shrine" pictures of Jesus when I was a boy. His eyes opened and closed.

I either got it at Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm or Marineland of the Pacific in the mid 1950's. I would let my lamp shine on it before bedtime and then, after my praying with my Daddy, I would lay in my bed thinking about Jesus. I kept this picture for a very long time and even had it when I went to Bible college.

Though Daddy was not saved, these are the words he taught me as a very young child.

On Wednesday nights I am teaching The Doctrines of Salvation. Last night I addressed The Atonement. I presented seven Theories of Atonement. I explained that the Atonement is a reality, it is not a theory. Most, if not all Atonement Theories, have some truth, but they all err in some way, therefore I have never held to a specific, "Theory of Atonement."

Part of the problem with Atonement Theories is that people accept human explanation as if it is Divine revelation. They accept a system, with its flaws, and they are not willing to reject the flaws because they think that the flaws must be right since they are presented as Truth, since the flaws are presented as actually being the Atonement.

I pointed out the history of the doctrine, as it has been explained through the years, including positive and negative aspects of the theories. Understanding the history of the theories helps us understand the origin of the faulty teachings that so many Christians have today. Understanding the theories helps us avoid the errors of false doctrines and helps us understand other Christians.

The Atonement is not a theory, it is a revealed truth of God. Therefore I build my belief system on what the Bible clearly says about the Atonement. Why be tied to human theories when we can be set free by Divine revelation?

I visit Christian internet sights that claim their intent is to prove the historicity of the Holy Bible, which is a worthy intent. However, part of their actual work is presenting their own doctrinal views, which is valid, but it is easy to mislead people into thinking that their own, and sometimes peculiar, beliefs are part and parcel with trusting the genuineness and authority and infallibility of the Holy Bible.

There is nothing wrong with offering arguments concerning specific issues or doctrines, but folks need to be discerning. Even if a person or a group is right about one thing, it does not mean that they are right about other issues.

This is more disturbing when the extraneous teaching is actually a matter of interpretation. After all, anyone can claim that a belief is from the Bible. This is how the cults have ensnared millions of people.

I also teach what I believe to be true, but I direct folks to check my teaching against the word of God. I realize I teach concepts which are not popular with modern Christianity, but I build my arguments on what the Bible actually says and has been recognized as historically aligned with the teachings of the apostles.

Remember, God directs believers to be careful and diligent in finding and following His truth.

If the local church, along with pastoral ministry authority, was not important and essential to New Testament faith and faithfulness, then it would not have been fundamental in the teachings of the New Testament prophets and apostles, and it would not have been the target of demonic attacks from the days of the apostolic church until now. In fact, the attack intensifies against the church and God's ministry as we get closer to the end.

One of the most significant signs of the end times is the abundance of false teachers and false doctrines. Also remember, God's word tells believers that we should be more closely aligned with our local body of believers as the end approaches. Remember too, God emphasized that believers should follow the faith of those whom He has appointed as leaders, and to submit and obey the rule of those whom God has appointed and anointed as leaders.

As alarmist as I may seem, the stakes are high enough to err on the side of caution. But the evidence indicates I am not overstating the urgency of the need for a quick and complete turning to God.

I am not talking about saving our lost society (though that would be wonderful), I am calling everyone to surrender fully to Jesus. This world could turn around if it chooses, but whether it does or does not, individuals must turn around to avoid the looming catastrophe, both temporal and eternal.

The only people who have ever seen a world as messed up as this one, died in a flood almost 5,000 years ago. The world has suffered great atrocities at the hands of Communist dictators and other megalomaniacs, and localized social insanity has affected various cultures.

But today is a different story. Not only has society accepted the most bazaar beliefs and perverted behavior, but now there is a worldwide movement to force mindlessness and deviant behavior on others, and the persecution of Christians is becoming acceptable in the most educated, advanced and Christianized countries of the world.

There is no time left for spiritual game playing.

Now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation... and the clock is ticking away. No one has the promise of their next breath, be we all have the warning that it is appointed unto man to die and then face judgment. And, according to the Bible, God has planned on each believer being a submissive part of a local, loving, faithful body of believers. A person may find himself in a situation that requires them to stand for Christ alone, but if you are near a local body of believers (regardless of the size) then you must be part of that body, committing your time, treasure, talent to that body. No "Lone Ranger Christianity" allowed.

God has given Biblical and Holy Spirit led pastors and leaders for the purpose of under-girding and equipping believers for faithful living and ministry.

To reject God's revealed plan is to reject God.

DLG... The less you walk in the light (knowledge, understanding, wisdom insight, enlightenment) God gives you, the less light God will give you. The less you use the blessings of God in service to Him and His revealed will, the fewer blessings you will receive from Him.

God has told us, "To whom much is given, much shall be required." God gives more light to those who walk in the light He gives. We are answerable for the light we receive and we are answerable for not receiving the light God wants us to have.

Because men have been taught that conversion (regeneration, justification and initial sanctification), is all that God does in terms of delivering us from sin, Christians have followed faulty teaching, preaching, counsel and do not move on to purity of heart and perfection of love through the infilling and fullness of the Holy Spirit, which comes to believers, when they surrender completely to God.

They blindly accept that God cannot or will not deliver them from the indwelling of the sin nature and they erroneously believe that God does not deliver them from sinning. They believe they are doomed to a life of sin.

Therefore, because of their lack of faith, they never find deliverance from the root of sin and as a result, the fruit of sin is more likely to develop in their lives. They think that God either cannot or will not set them free from their personal inclination to pride, anger, lust, greed, backbiting, suspicion, selfishness, worldliness. In fact, they will take offense at anyone who professes or proclaims heart purity and victory over sin. This is because they do not enjoy those uninterrupted blessings of God personally.

Don't be robbed of the fullness of God's blessing.
Don't be robbed of a pure heart and perfect love and peace that passes understanding and love abounding, and joy unspeakable, on a constant, continuous and consistent basis.

God's salvation includes life and death: life in Christ through the new birth and death to the Old Man through personal crucifixion with Jesus. Christians who are dead to the world, self and sin are not living a "Crucified Life," they are living the "Resurrection Life."

One of the great passages, which addresses this subject says,
Philippians 3:7-11
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Jesus (God) has a plan to redeem and restore men to a right relationship with God, but it requires men to trust Him and obey Him. We are given a choice, which we actually do make.

We either choose to submit to Christ or we don't.
The choice is an act of faith.
Our faith takes hold of God's promise, God's offer of salvation.
Our faith rises from hearing and heeding the word of God.
Not only the faith that leads to salvation but the faith that continues in salvation is dependent on God's word.
We are born again by the word of God and we purify our hearts by obeying the word of God and we grow in grace and knowledge through the word of God.
We must continue in the word of God in order to continue in the faith.

God raised up and nourished our country on Christian values and truth, but the people at large have turned from our Biblical roots and foundation, openly and aggressively rebelling against God.

At this point there are only a few God followers remaining. Our society and our leadership is like the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have fallen to the depths of degradation.

God is calling to the leadership and the citizenry of USA to hear and heed His word. He refers to our nation by the name of one of the most wicked societies in history.

God is not impressed with religious behavior, which is not true worship and service to the True and Living God. Religious substitutes for Divine deliverance are repugnant to God.

God is not interested in empty Christianity. Formality without substance is hypocrisy.

God rejects a form of godliness, which rejects the true power of salvation. Sin laden "worship" is an abomination to God. He is looking for people to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Religious ritual and tradition, regardless of its historic value, is empty and blasphemous when it is not the expression of a redeemed person.

American Christianity mistakes God for a lap dog, to come at our command. There comes a time when God no longer hears and no longer strives with men. It is not that God does not want to answer prayer, it is that the prayers do not meet the Biblical criteria for being answered.

God calls the church and the nation to surrender. God requires us to be clean, to be separate from sin, to repent (turn from sin inwardly and outwardly).

God requires goodness in our lives. He requires good behavior, justice, honesty, standing for truth, defending the weak and vulnerable.

Come back to reason, Come back to righteousness. Come back to God.

God requires submission and obedience. There are conditions that must be met (by the in-working of God in our lives), if we want to receive the promises and blessings of God.

Some folks have an earthly father who is angry, vengeful, officious, unmoved by compassion, vindictive, self protective, self asserting and self serving. This is the supposed state of the god of the Old Testament, or if you subscribe to the Deformed religion, the supposed god of the New Testament.

Some folks have an earthly father who is soft, unprincipled, maneuverable. This is the supposed state of the god of the Bible as understood by folks who do not accept the holy, just, all powerful God of the Bible.

Actually, the God of the Bible is just and merciful.
God is made angry by rebellion, but He is redemptive, restorative and reconciling to those who have rebelled against Him.
He is not the angry, hostile, wrathful, narrow father some folks think Him to be.
God is loving, but He is not unprincipled.
He not only sees our sin, He made provision for all men to be saved from their sins.
He provided all that is necessary for life and godliness.
God is not hardhearted or soft headed.
His not quick to anger or retribution.
He is not self serving but is self giving, to the point of sacrificial death on the cross for all mankind.

Be careful of the father model that religionists promote concerning God.
The god of legalism is formal, demanding, unsympathetic,
The god of liberalism allows licentiousness.
The god of limited grace, limited atonement, limited love is neither gracious or just.

The God of the Bible (Father Son and Holy Spirit) is just and merciful, holy and loving, true and faithful.
The God of the Bible hates sin and those who cling to their sins.
The God of the Bible loves sinners.
The God of the Bible loves righteousness.
The God of the Bible prefers mercy and not our sacrifices.
The God of the Bible prefers a broken spirit, and a broken and contrite heart, more than religious and perfunctory sacrifice and ceremony.

The entire Bible is replete with God's desire for mercy, forgiveness, cleansing, renewal, restoration. Here is but one passage, which addresses this subject.

Yes, this passage finds literal and historical fulfillment in the Israel of the Old Testament, but the ultimate fulfillment is for believers and followers of Jesus Christ. 

Psalms 85:1-13
1 ...LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

God created Adam and required submission to His will.
God explained that disobedience would bring judgment, and part of that judgment would be death.
Adam disobeyed God.
God knew Adam would disobey and God knew that disobedience results in judgement.
Adam's sin resulted in immediate spiritual death (separation from God) and eventually physical death, which came to Adam and his children.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

After Adam sinned, he and rebellious Eve tried to cover their shame with leaves and tried to hide from God.

Of course God knew where they were, but God came "looking" for Adam, saying, "where are you."
There was no thunder or lightening or earth-quaking or erupting volcano.
It was God coming down to meet with Adam and Eve, as He was accustomed to doing.
God did not send a hurricane or a tornado, ripping the foliage out of the ground and He did not explode on the scene, splitting rocks.
God came looking for His lost creation, and He came in love, even though His judgment would change human existence forever.

This was the first sin, the first rebellious act, the first insurrection of man and God came looking for Adam quietly.
If there was ever a time for an angry god to show His sovereign displeasure, THIS WAS IT.

Yes, God does get angry with sin and sinners.
Yes, God does condemn sin and sinners.
Yes, God does judge and exhibit wrath and even vengeance.

BUT God IS love and God is merciful and God is kind and God is patient.
Death and judgment are the self inflicted results of sin for all mankind, even as it was with Adam, and God is the Judge.

God did come down to confront Adam and Eve.
God did come down to execute judgment.

BUT GOD CAME REDEMPTIVELY.
God knew where Adam was.
God knew what Adam had done.
God knew what He was going to do to Adam and the entire human race.
God knew how it was going to turn out for Adam.
But God came, not only with justice and judgment, He came with love, hope, promise.
God does not want man to die (be separated from God), either in this world or eternally.
God sent His Son to SEEK and to SAVE the lost.

God will use blessings to draw the lost to Himself.
God will use suffering to drive the lost to Himself.
God gave His Only Begotten Son to die for the sins of the entire world and He does not desire that any should perish, but that all should turn to Him in faith and turn from sin.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but no one needs to do that.
Jesus came to take away our judgment, our sin, our guilt, our condemnation.
God does not want wrath, but redemption.
God does not want condemnation, but forgiveness.
God does not want separation, but reconciliation.
God does not want cursing, but blessing.
And God has done everything to provide salvation for all men.
All that is required is that we turn to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Not only are we not required to earn our salvation, WE CANNOT earn our salvation.
We are spiritually bankrupt.
Our salvation requires the miraculous intervention of God.
If we do not accept His loving offer of salvation we will face His fearful judgment and wrath.
Do not perceive God as an angry, vengeful tyrant, eager to punish you.
See Him as He is, a Loving Father seeking to redeem you and deliver you from your sin and eternal suffering.

The conclusion of the matter is left up to you.
He will either be your Savior or your Judge.

God is not an AI entity.

He does not adapt and develop His nature and plans based on an uncontrolled sovereignty.
His sovereignty agrees with and accomplishes His plans and decrees, which agree with His nature (love, justice, truth, kindness, mercy), are demonstrated through His works of salvation.
His foreknowledge does not negate His plan for man to be a free moral agent, answerable for his own choices to sin or to trust God.

Our choice is based on God's creation, wisdom, justice, love and mercy and enabling grace to believe, trust, follow and obey God. Without free moral agency there is no justice the wrath of God coming down on those who have not ability to choose.

Don't let anyone fool you along these lines, into presuming on God. He demands response and He will judge according to our response. God is not looking for an opportunity to condemn lost man. He desires all men to be saved. He is driven by redemptive love. Either receive His salvation by faith or suffer the wrath of a scorned and rejected Creator.
