03/03/23 THE MORE THEY CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME

You have heard the saying, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." That applies to the following.

Years ago I not only cried allowed concerning the apostasy of the "Church" in America, and the Statist attacks on the Lordship of Christ, and the worship of Moloch, and the thorough corruption of our society, and I not only called believers to walk in all the light that God would give them, I (with the folks in our local church) ALSO TOOK STEPS TO STEM THE TIDE. Many others (family, friends, fellow churchmen) scorned my warnings, and as a result, their silent acquiescence ushered in the present day of idolatry and spiritual idiocy. We are living in the most lunatic lost society since the days of Noah.

So, you may ask, how does that relate to my opening premise? Because "Christians" today not only quietly allowed the perversion, oppression, corruption of our society and the damning of America's children and overthrow of the family, they are still not taking a stand, much less are they mounting an active, meaningful rescue attempt to save their children and grandchildren today. As perverse and destructive as things have gotten, they are getting worse every day and the "Christian" community talks the talk but they don't have the spiritual fortitude to walk the walk. Some of them are raising their voices, but they are still abandoning the children to godlessness. They watch as the children and youth are being led away from God, and sacrificed on the altar of Paganism and Heathenism and Hedonism and Humanism and Statism.

Christians are boasting in their fleshly weapons while their children are being molested, twisted, hardened against God. Ballots and bullets have not saved modern America. The only real rescue action taken has been by those who proclaim and live by the faith found in the New Testament. Anyone can complain, but it takes a person with self denying, Christ trusting, Holy Spirit empowered faith to stand against the winds of opposition and oppression.

So, yes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
