03/12/23 BECAUSE I CARE
I am not surprised that the majority of Americans are not alarmed (or even slightly stirred) concerning the condition of our country. Even the Christian community has a false sense of security because of their ignorance of Biblical truth, human history and current affairs. What bothers me the most is that people close to me don't take Biblical warnings seriously.
I recently warned that Christians need to prepare for a major financial upheaval that will actually target believers. This will be related to our work and income, our banking, our buying and selling. Christians will not be able to buy food, procure housing, get medical help.
Within a week I heard that some "Christians" were forming a faith friendly banking system (unlike the "woke" banking and business models of our day). I appreciate the concern and the effort to help believers in the difficult days ahead, but I don't have any confidence in a so called Christian counter movement.
Just this week SVB collapsed in the second largest bank failure in American history. It also appears that this might be just the beginning or a domino effect.
These, and other financial, economic problems in American industry, personal purchasing power, international finance, military threats and costs, the Liberal war against energy and food production, as well as the attacks on American faith and family and education is a "perfect storm" brewing, which will likely bring America a collapse from which it will never recover.
Still, no matter how these events are seen on the world stage and regardless of how these problems are eroding American homes and families, people continue on as if there is nothing to be concerned about.
Food, medicine, law enforcement, freedom, life are all on the chopping block, and people parrot, "Peace and Safety."
Drawing close to Jesus is not just a security blanket for times of trouble. Drawing close to Jesus is our only stronghold. Drawing closer to Jesus not only makes us better stewards of our minimized resources, it engages the power of God to protect and provide in the darkest times we will face. God could actually allow us to suffer great losses, as He has with others around the world. We don't need to draw close to God for temporal, earthly, fleshly support. We need to draw close to Him because He is our only hope, our only deliverer, from sin and Satan.
Look at what has happened to our nation in the past few decades. It has been more than financial, political, academic. It has been moral and spiritual.
Don't play games with your soul, your life, your family, your eternity.
