05/18/23 OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

05/18/23 OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

For midweek service I addressed several issues. I also wanted to present Bible verses which substantiate Divine revelation and inspiration and I wanted to follow up with a review of the history of the English translation of Bible and I wanted to clear up some confusion concerning various translations that have similar (and sometimes the same) names, but we did not have enough time.

Understanding the authority of Scripture and the history of translations is important for the serious Christian, especially in a society that has been taught to distrust and discount God's word.

The Lord willing, I hope to address these subjects next Wednesday. We have in person (at my Net House) and online (ZOOM) meetings. If you are interested in being part of our Christian gatherings, please let me know.

My teaching and preaching schedule looks something like this.

On Sunday Mornings we have two meetings: a Bible Class and a Praise and Preaching Service. I am teaching and preaching from the book of Genesis and from the Harmony of the Gospels.
(Sometimes I switch the subjects between Bible Class and Praise and Preaching, depending on the lesson and message of those particular passages).

Sunday 10:00 AM Bible Class: 45 minute session.

Sunday 11:00 AM Praise (music, testimonies) and Preaching Service: Usually between 60 to 90 minutes.

Sunday Afternoon Fellowship meal for those who are interested. We should be resuming this activity soon.

Sunday 6:30 AM Evening Gathering. A mixture of fellowship, teaching, preaching. Usually 60 to 90 minutes.

Wednesday 7:00 PM. Teaching (doctrine, Christian living, ministries), Q and A Time, Discussion.

I also lead a Men's Ministry Study on Thursday nights at 7:00. This is a training class for future leadership in the local church. It is a combination of Bible, Theology and Christian History. The present study is titled, "Bible Theology In Genesis."
