04/01/23 THE TRUE GOD OF GRACE

04/01/23 THE TRUE GOD OF GRACE

God lives in the eternal now.
God acts and relates to us in the present now.
God let's us choose our, NOW.

CONSIDER...
God is eternal, without beginning and without ending.

God is omniscient, He knows everything that ever was and everything that will ever be. God's foreknowledge must not be confused with God's foreordination (predestination).

God is all wise. God not only knows all things, God understands all things.

God is omnipotent, He is all powerful. God can do whatever God wants to do, but His power is always consistent with His nature.

God is love. It is not only that God has love or is loving, but God is love. Love is not only what God communicates and how He relates, but love is in the very nature of God.

God is righteous. God not only does that which is right, but God is by nature righteous. God's righteousness is not vacillating. God cannot do evil and then call it righteous.

God is just (fair, equitable). God acts in accord with His unchanging nature. Since God is omnipotent and omniscient and all wise He determines the moral boundaries of man. When God does something, which He does not allow man to do (such as take human life), God's action is consistent with His unfailing wisdom, love and righteousness.

God is immutable (consistent, unchanging). God is consistent with His own nature. God is not a split personality or duplicitous or a God of chaos and disorder. God is and does that which is consistent with the revelation of Himself and is the model for mankind to follow His directives, which are clearly communicated to mankind.

God is faithful and true. God spoke to us through His word, in order for us to know truth. What God has revealed about Himself in the Bible can be understood and trusted. Knowing God's truth sets us free from sin.

God does not have a hidden agenda or a darker and secret reality. God is the Giver of every good and perfect Gift. God gives us gifts because He loves us and wants us to prosper spiritually.

If we read and believe God's revelation of Himself and His plan and His work, we will be enlightened and enabled to live a life of godliness.
