11/25/23 CHRISTMAS, A TIME TO CELEBRATE, A TIME TO WORSHIP

Without Christ...
there is no Christmas,
there is no celebration,
there is no new life,
there is no real Gift,
there is no hope.

Darkness wants to rob us of Christ.
Darkness wants to rob us of family.
Darkness wants to rob us of local body of believers.

I have worshiped in cathedrals, in beautiful sanctuaries, in storefronts, in living rooms, in motel conference rooms, in offices, in gardens, in yards, in a bus and in trailers, in barns, in library meeting rooms, in restaurants, in public, in secret.
God was in the midst of each of those places and situations.

Without God, there is no worship.
Without God there is no one worthy of worship.

I have worshiped with family, friends, recent acquaintances, strangers.
I have worshiped in California, in Texas, in Colorado, in Alabama, in Georgia, in Tennessee, in South Carolina, in North Carolina, in Virginia, in Kentucky, in Ohio, in Pennsylvania, in Michigan, in Indiana.
I have worshiped in The USA, in various parts of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, England, Norway, Holland and Canada.
I have worshiped in large crowds and small groups.

Worshiping Christ is wonderful in every way.
Worshiping with others is wonderful.
Worshiping with family is wonderful.

I am thankful for all of God's many blessings in the past and in the present.

God wants everyone to worship with other believers in spirit and in truth.
God wants families and congregations to be united in truth, faith and love.

Worship focuses on God, not on us.
