12/01/23 WE CAN KNOW AND MAKE CERTAIN OUR ELECTION

Making our calling and election certain (as God tells us in the Bible) requires our willful and deliberate response, which includes receiving and believing God's word, through (hearing) reading and heeding God's word. 

Being a Christian includes denying self, accepting and following Jesus as Savior and Lord.

This is a Divine transformation and daily journey, of hope, which becomes faith, and faith which becomes love and love which is evidenced through obedience and service. 

Both the Christian experience and life require believing and receiving; reading and heeding God's word.

Our spiritual journey begins by grace through faith and continues through growth in grace and living by faith.

Being passive, being presumptuous is not grace, or faith, or Christian, or glorifying to God. The Christian life is an active, interactive relationship with God through faith.
We are children of God by faith.
We are to continue in the faith.
We live by faith.
We walk in faith.

Saving faith is not passive; it is active.
The evidence of faith is love and obedience.
The seal of God is that we have turned from sin.
