11/28/23 THE GOD STANDARD IS LOVE

A person would not spend the same amount of money for a counterfeit work of art or an historic document that they would spend for a genuine, an authentic, an original, a unique treasure. Yet people give their lives readily to a false Jesus (another Jesus), a false Spirit (another Spirit), a false gospel (another gospel). And it costs them their soul and sometimes it costs the soul of their loved ones. 

2 Corinthians 11:3-4
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

The true Jesus does not appeal to the flesh (carnal mind).
The true Spirit of God does not appeal to the flesh (carnal mind).
The true gospel does not appeal to the flesh (carnal mind).

People are drawn to another message because it is comfortable, it gratifies the flesh, it does not require death to the world, the flesh and sin.
People follow another message because they are either deceived or they specifically desire that which is evil.

Remember, salvation is free, but it is not cheap.
We cannot take hold of Jesus while we hold onto sin, self or evil spirits.
We cannot buy salvation, but it will cost us our lives.
