Psalms 42:1-2
1 ... As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Psalms 84:2
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Psalms 107:8-9
8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
John 4:14
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
God gives the believer everything necessary for life and godliness.

If you lack the presence, the power, the purity of the Holy Spirit that you want and need in you life, it is because you either have not asked, or you have not asked in faith, or you have wanted Hm in your life for the wrong reasons.
